Uh oh

 I guess I've fallen behind a little bit on posting anything. I wasn't sure if I wanted to do weekly posts or what. I guess I figured I'd just write whenever I had the urge to.

Right now times are a bit tough, and I wonder sometimes if design and marketing are the best areas for me to be involved in. I think some people are pushing their promotional campaigns harder right now, to try to overcome the struggling economy, and I think others are trying to cut back and use more cost-effective methods. Then again, I hear that the malls are still packed and people are still spending lots of money - so I'm not sure what to think.

This is one area where I think the internet is a neat tool. I've posted a new poll to the main blog page, "Is the current economic situation actually negatively affecting you?"

Right now I don't have a ton of visitors, so it might take a little while for the results to manifest - but it will certainly be interesting to see how many people are actually affected and maybe that will help clear some of the fog in this situation.
