About Mick McCuen

I have a long-term history with computers. My dad was heavily "into" computers when I was growing up. We owned a Commodore 64 when I was 6 or 7 years old, and I learned to write Basic on it (a programming language) when I was about that age. Then we moved onto to the Amiga 500, and finally in my teens I got my hands on a "regular" PC, running Windows. 

So, the long and short of it is I have about 20 years of computing experience including experience with Mac OS, DOS and Linux. I am comfortable with the "guts" of a computer both in terms of software and hardware - I have built computers from the ground-up and have repaired non-working computers, in many cases malfuncting to the point that the operating system (i.e. Windows) wouldn't even appear (the computer "jams" before trying to start Windows).

In addition to this I have years of experience in the following areas:

Personal Stuff 

I was born in September of 1981. I'm skinny and geeky, but somehow I managed to marry a hot Norwegian blonde and we have a wonderful daughter who is currently my best friend and favorite comedian, Violet McCuen. I am a Rooster/Virgo. And apparently I'm like some weird cosmic extreme rooster (See this article).
